Law of Inertia- Lesson Compilation

Magic in Science

My students did the different magic in physics. Yesterday. they were so excited and prepared to show their exhibit.

November 15, monday, IV-Mercury held their science exhibit at Lumban  National High School. Their participating audience were III- Narra.

The pressure is involved in the activity above. Since force is directly proportional to pressure and force is weight which is the product of mass and acceleration due to gravity so students tried to hold their breath to less a little mass so that force will be lessen to and the pressure will be little small.
While Area is inversely proportional to pressure, so students tends to add area on the broken bottle and nails so that the pressure exerted on the feet be less.
Floating card is one of the tricks in physics, here the students can learn the concept of optics which is refraction of light. where the audience cant clearly seen the string attached on the card. When light strikes the string it will be reflected to our eyes but since light entered another transparent medium it was refracted and almost wrecked that the image of the string was broken.
He's Christian.One of the IV-Mercuries pride.
Law of Inertia. states that, a body at rest will remain at rest and a body in motion will continue moving unless acted upon by external force.
To flicked out the money from two bottles need extra skill and practice. Extra speed while the bottles tend to keep its inertia at rest.

This group though presented a simple activity on reflection of light got the attention of the crowd by their fascinating explanation on the concept.
An object was put inside the box but since the hole from the box is just enough to let a rays of light to in but can not comes out thats whys the light inside the box reflected so many times and its energy loses. So the colored object inside the box, was not seen anymore. It is now invisible.

New Herbal Medicine

Tomorrow’s Leaf (Healing Plant)
Another plant from Singapore  and a native from Japan was introduced here in our country (Philippines). It seems that the plant is good in tackling the following disorders (per the handout given to me by Wilson): Lungs, Coughing, Asthma, Digestive System, Intestinal problems, Kidneys and Kidney Stones, Urinary Tract bleeding, Liver, Gall Bladder, Hepatitis, Gall Stones, Suppression of growth of cancer cells, Constipation, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Blood Poisoning, Skin Allergies, Rheumatism, High Cholesterol levels, High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, and a host of others.

From the family of  Carrot (Apiaceae), The nutritional and health benefits of this high chlorophyll plant are extensive, and ashitaba is unique among the Angelicas due to its tasty edibility and the presence of substantial levels of B12, a vitamin normally not found in terrestrial plants. The herb is considered effective in treating eczema and psoriasis, also disorders of the gastrointestinal system, hepatitis, cancer, anemia, chronic fatigue, etc. In-vivo tests of chalcones have shown strong antibiotic activity against staphylococcus.
